Vote Hillary or McCain No Obama in 2008

Democrats Against Obama just sent a bunch of flyers that include all kinds of facts.
Here are a few facts found on the flyers. If you would like to download the flyers you can do so here

Myth: McCain will reverse Roe V Wade so abortion will be illegal and women’s rights will be reversed!

Truth: The president of the United States does NOT have the power to reverse judgments of the Supreme Court1. The president appoints Supreme Court Justices. It is possible that McCain could try to appoint conservative anti-abortion judges, but the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS MUST ratify or approve those judges. In other words, McCain could attempt to appoint anti-abortion judges, but those judges would be stopped by the democratic members of the Congress and Senate. Therefore, McCain reversing Roe v Wade is a BIG LIE. By the way, if Bush was not able to reverse Roe v. Wade with a Republican House and Senate, I don’t think McCain would be successful.

MYTH: McCain will keep us in Iraq for 100 years. He’s a War mongerIII!

Truth: We have been in Korea, Germany, and Japan for 50 years2. To jump up and radically pull out of Iraq would be a grave disservice to all and a waste of American life. Bush/Cheney decided to go to war with Iraq and we cannot just wish it away. We need diplomacy and a plan to end the war in the best way possible.

Note:

On July 28th, the day after his speech at the Democratic convention, Barack Obama told a group of reporters in Boston that the United States had an "absolute obligation" to remain in Iraq long enough to make it a success. "The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster," he said at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, according to an audiotape of the session. "It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died. . . . It would be a betrayal of the promise that we made to the Iraqi people, and it would be hugely destabilizing from a national security perspective."3 In winter, 2008, Obama says he wants to bring the troops home immediately…humm, which is true?

MYTH: Obama was against the war. Hillary and McCain supported the war!

Truth: Obama was Not a senator during the war vote. However, he has since voted to continue funding the war4. There is no way we will ever know what Obama would have done. Barack on Iraq War: ‘Not Much of a Difference Between My Position and George Bush's Position’. — July 2004.

MYTH: McCain is Bush Part III

Truth: Bush did NOT have foreign policy experience and little record of bi-partisanship. Bush was in the pockets of big Oil and Gas companies. Bush was arrogant and Bush depended on advisors to make decisions. Bush’s arrogance, naiveté, lack of experience and greed were the foundation for the invasion of Iraq. McCain has extensive foreign policy experience. Obama does NOT. Mccain, unlike any other candidate knows the reality of war. Also, Obama voted YES for the Bush/Cheney Energy Bill. Both HILLARY AND McCain voted against it.5 Obama said he would invade Pakistan if necessary (a nuclear armed country) and Obama remains arrogant, inexperienced, with little foreign policy experience.

Obama voted for the Bush-Cheney energy bill that that put $6 billion in the pocket of big oil. Obama said he voted for it "reluctantly." Therefore, Obama’s inexperience, support of the Bush/Cheney Energy Bill, lack of credible bi- partisanship, arrogance and willingness to bomb Pakistan, in my opinion makes Obama Bush Part III!

I really find the assumption of many Dem's that women will automatically vote for Obama on just the chioce issue insulting. It's like they think they can hold our uteruses hostage and get our vote that way. I am not a one issue voter and there is no way that I can vote for Obama. Thanks for pointing out the fact that a McCain presidency does NOT equal the outlawing of choice.

This is the best that I have read...I cannot support Obama...I feel that he's not President material...he's too sure of himself....cocky...he's talked "changes" for how many months...but, has he ever said what those "changes" are??? I don't trust this "smooth talker" and we think we have problems with the Bush Administration...Obama gets voted in and those "problems" will triple...
HILLARY ALL THE WAY....

You know, I keep reading on the emails that this site sends me to vote for Hillary or "do you want Hillary in the White House?" To be honest, I do not any longer want Hillary in the White House. She has proven herself to be a true blue politician who is willing to sell out America for a Party - the Democrats.

First the Democratic party treated her with disrepect and an outright hateful, discriminatory manner. Obama has treated her and continues to treat her and Bill as less then second class citizens. The DNC and the pro Obama media keep treating those of us who do not back Obama like errant children who will fall into line on election day. Then Hillary has the nerve to ask us to vote for Obama and she herself is supporting him. How can she say she is looking out for us when actually she is holding open the door to the barn where we are trying to keep the wolf out.

I will not vote for Hillary nor Obama. None of us should vote for Hillary on a write in campaign because it is a wasted vote. We need to throw all of our support behind McCain. Not only to defeat Obama but because McCain deeply cares about America. I believe this with all of my heart.

Come on everyone, give us a chance to get stronger. Don't buy into the lies spewed by the press and the skewed polls that we are told favor Obama. STay strong and vote McCain this November. Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do so as well. We are not buying a car from Obama, he wants the ultimate power. He is a fraud. Vote McCain!

To all of you who are running this site, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You sound like a bunch of rabid right-wing nut jobs. For anyone who buys into this bullshit site, I urge you to see the forest for the trees. Some of the bloggers who are criticizing Obama on here sound like closet republicans. Theres been nothing on here but a bunch of knit-picking on Obama. As if Hillary was flawless in your ideal political vision-give me a break! If you want more poverty in this country vote for McBush-If you want weakened national security-vote for the old bastard-If you want a further deteriorating education system-vote for that republican puppet-I urge the managers of this site to stop pretending like this site is Hillary for President campaign-and just turn it into what it is-a pro McBush and pro republican "cause", stop your crying, and go back McBush.

Hey Tresa-thank you for proving my argument that the "bloggers" on this site are mostly closet republicans. Do you think that everyone has been asleep for the past 8 years, we know what McCain and the Republicans have done to this country. You're probably a very comfortable republican that has nothing better to do then pretend like you're somehow independent, and that "you know" McBush is a "decent man" Im a combat veteran, Ive lived the past 8 years under this administration. Im sure you've been very comfortable as a republican over the last 8 years. A citizen in an alienated country, gas at an all time high, unaffordable health care, rampant poverty. You're a republican whose voted for the country that you deserve. You'll continue to vote for all of the McBushs and you will continue to get the country that you deserve.

To Redfree08, I typically vote Democrat and know this country needs a lot of work. I do support the Democratic agenda but refuse to vote for a racist, American hating, friend of terrorist. If I have to live through 4 more years of a Bush type administration, then, hey I have already survived 8 and I did not even vote for Bush. At least McCain is a true Veteran who is a fighter for what he believes in. Obama is just a puppet of the wealthy terrorist who support him. Obama does not want to drill to even try to get the gas prices down. He has no plan laid out...just speeches that make idiots swoon. He talks of change but what kind of change? All I hear and see from him and those who are closets to him is hatred of America and the white race. You can butt kiss him because he is may be the first black president but it takes more then color to persuade me. I have a brain in my head and love in my heart for my Country, I will not be part of supporting Obama who will destroy it. No Thank you!

You can try to insult me all that you want to but all that does is firm up my gut feeling that Obama is bad and those that support him are either just as bad or ignorant. As for your military background, I cannot understand how any veteran can support a candidate who want to lose a war that should have been easily won. A candidate that want to devalue those that we have lost in combat and those who are still fighting for a cause that they believe in. Just saying you are a veteran means nothing today. Look at Reverend Wright. He was a veteran and spews nothing but racial hatred and division. Many veterans have never served a day in combat so haven't the first clue what those who are in combat now are experiencing. Get real! You may want to turn my country over to an anti American but I will not be part of doing it. I will fight Obama all the way and hope others will too and vote for McCain.
