Katie Couric Defends Hillary

From the MediaBistro

"Some thoughts from Couric at the event:
However you feel about her politics, I feel that Sen. Clinton received some of the most unfair, hostile coverage I've ever seen.

Couric went on to say that latent sexism contributed, in part, to Hillary's defeat.

She referred to one "prominent member of the commentariat" who said he "found it hard to be objective when it came to Obama."

"That's your job," she remembers thinking when hearing this, before suggesting that he "find another line of work." (Was it Chris Matthews? Or was it Lee Cowan?)"

Thanks Katie for amplifying the gross injustices of the media misogynists suffered on behalf of all women by this internationally-respected and loved Presidential Woman of Substance!

It looks as if the Light is starting to shine gloriously through the 18 million of cracks above. And Obamyopia may yet prove to be just another curable affliction once the Bitter Medicine is delivered by the much-crucified, alienated Invisible Demographic!...

Go, Hillary, and give 'em Health...and Light to see a brighter Tomorrow....

Katie..
I applaud you and Tom Brokaw for coming forth and defending Hillary Clinton. I can't believe what I have heard and seen in the past 16 months or so. Hillary has been ripped apart by the media...they should be highly ashamed of themselves...I've seen three year olds act more grown up and professional...I watched Hillary on Saturday as she gave her speech and was so touched by how she handled the whole thing and knowing in my heart that she had been given a "raw" deal. It seemed like no matter what she did or didn't do...the media was on her...and, nothing was ever said about the things that Obama has done...Hillary is a political icon and deep in my heart, as I'm sure it's in her heart as well, she would make an outstanding President! I know she wants "unity" in the Democratic Party...and, wants her supporters to support Barack Obama....but....I can't do that...and, won't change my mind..It scares me to think that he could be nominated....I fear what could happen to our country should he become President...However....I think that people are beginning to see him for what he is...and, to put his wife in the same class as Jackie Kennedy...it's like a slap in the face to her...People had better wake up and think twice in November for who they want!!!
God Bless Hillary Clinton and may she keep on going...AMERICA needs her!!

WHERE WERE THESE PEOPLE WHEN THE ACTUAL HORRIBLE ACTS WERE HAPPENING?

THEY WATCHED, THEY LISTENED, THEY WERE SILENT.

THEY COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING THEN. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO BE SILENT.
