This is an example of the "Change" Obama is going to bring?? If he can have no shame on the issue I not only dislike him but I fear him as a man of power. He has that same attitude as Bush. He truly does not care.

Rich...I couldn't agree more with him..I fear a man who has no experience...it truly scares me...People had better wake up before Election day....we all think we are in a mess with the present Administration....just wait until he is at the helm....I don't like his "smooth talk"...and, "changes"...what exactly are those "changes"...he has "swayed" so many people to believe in him...and, I cannot do that...The DNC made one HUGE mistake........hopefully...something will come up to "change" things...This should go to the Convention and let that decide the candidate...GO HILLARY!!!

I need to make a "correction"...Rich...I couldn't agree more with you...it should not have been "him"...I apologize...I get so cranked up over this....Obama is cocky...thinks he has this election in the bag....one should not count their chickens before they hatch........He doesn't care....all he cares about is getting into that White House...what is he going to do...once he is in there???? We can hope that people will wake up....before it is to late!!
GO HILLARY....2008!!!

This really says it all.

"Grove Parc and several other prominent failures were developed and managed by Obama's close friends and political supporters. Those people profited from the subsidies even as many of Obama's constituents suffered. Tenants lost their homes; surrounding neighborhoods were blighted.

“Campaign finance records show that six prominent developers - including Jarrett, Davis, and Rezko - collectively contributed more than $175,000 to Obama's campaigns over the last decade and raised hundreds of thousands more from other donors. Rezko alone raised (another) $200,000, by Obama's own accounting."

Obama's association with convicted Mafia slumlord Tony Rezko is just the tip of the iceberg.

Obama can not be elected. America will never drink his Kool Aid.

This is just one of countless examples of how Obama is NOT presidential material. What I find interesting and ironic is:

1. If Obama had been a Republican, the Democrats and the media would have been all over him for being what they perceived as a stereotypical Republican, only representing the interests of the rich and not caring about poor people, etc. But, somehow, Obama gets a free pass (one of of many). His supporters, the media and the DNC seem to either be in denial or they simply don't care that we have a potential presidential nominee who not only had numerous public housing units is complete disrepair in his congressional district. And, as if that weren't enough, he then associates himself with the slumlord of those very buildings! You can't make this stuff up. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.

On top of all of that, as Ralph Nadar (who I'm no fan of, but he was right on, on this point) recently pointed out, to have a candidate who is (half) black who does not once address issues of poverty in inner cities, you gotta wonder what's up. Obama knows he can't go there because he needs to appeal to white guilt, so he distances himself from the plight of the poor (many of whom are black) and espouses platitudes like crazy.

Related to that, I heard him say in a recent speech to a crowd that was heavily African American that they shouldn't be so excited when their kid graduates 8th grade. And I quote, "You're supposed to graduate 8th grade." Fine. I get his point. But, you know, if you're living in one of those horrible housing projects that's infested with mice and gangs and no hot water, etc, etc, etc, having your kid graduate 8th grade is a big deal. Any achievement in the face of such challenges should be celebrated. He's such a freaking elitist, it makes me gag.

But, ok, enough blogging for today. We're preaching to the choir. Let's make sure that each day we do something proactive for the movement.
