News re: Hillary's Debt

-- The word on the street is that our campaign to have Hillary's debt paid by July 4 made a Sweet dent. Together with the more than 200 groups that make up JUST SAY NO DEAL have generated between $6-10 Million.

We have confirmed that our monies is in fact going towards her debt.

THE BAD NEWS! The DNC has moved the date up for Hillary to pay off this debt off. That date is JULY 11.

We have less than 48 hours to make another push for Hillary.

Please go to www.hillaryclinton.com and donate whatever you can to give our future president the push she needs.

DONATE DONATE DONATE

and THANK YOU to all those who are still standing for Hillary to be our next President.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ~ ANYTHING ~ BUT YOU MUST STAND FOR IT and NOT BACK DOWN.

Thanks for the update that our donations have been going towards her debt. After reading your announcement a couple of days ago, I contacted the campaign in a variety of ways as you advised and have yet to receive a response (which tics me off). So, glad to have the update. I think that, given how prominently you featured the original message about the different funds, etc, you might want to consider featuring this mesage a bit more prominently as well. It's rather buried in a lot of text and gets lost. I just stummbled upon it.

Just posted $50. If even half of the 18 million post the equivalent, that will raise $450 million! I think that should be sufficient to give Obama a good spanking in Denver! Roar Pumas Roar!!!

I can see why that there are so many people out there that don't want to vote....this whole thing has been nothing more than a sham...Right from the DNC down...media...Obama...his supporters and how they go into these sites and interject things...it's wrong and yet they get away with it...This debt needs to be paid off...WE need Hillary Rodham Clinton in that White House....she's not "hiding" things as Obama is...Enough words have been spoken....there needs to be ACTION and to stand up for what we believe in is right!!!!

I heard the other day that this site is only some of McCain's people messing with Hillary's people. How can you prove to me that this fund goes to pay off her debt, and NOT to support McCain? If she fails to make roll call, I will be writing her in to the ballot. I won't be voting for any other candidate.
Today is the 10th. You state that you verified that 6-10 million has been donated. There is a wide difference between 6 million and 10 million. Can you not be more accurate? I want to donate, but not without feeling secure in the process.

Everybody call at least 5 people and tell them to donate. We can do this. My family quit giving when she suspended her campaign. I gave my 50.00 today but I've called everyone I know and they're going online to donate. If we get others involved we can do it. Tell them to give 5 or 10 dollars, anyone can afford that.

If you can donate $50.00, donate at it here to get the Winning t-shirt. The following is the message from Hillary.

In May, Chelsea announced our "Project T-Shirt" contest, and I never imagined we would have such an outpouring of support and great designs. We received almost five thousand amazing entries, and more than 125,000 of you voted for your favorite design.

While the primary race may be over, I think the winning t-shirt -- and it won by a landslide -- still makes a wonderful statement about everything you and I accomplished in this historic race and our determination to keep fighting for what we believe in.

If you contribute $50 today you'll get a t-shirt with the winning design and continue to help me pay down our campaign debt.

Click here to make a contribution of $50 and receive one of our winning t-shirts.

Denitza of Weehawken, New Jersey submitted the winning t-shirt. I'd like to thank Denitza and the thousands of others who put their time, talent, and efforts into all the great designs that were submitted.

I know you're as proud as I am of everything we achieved and I hope I can count on you to work with me on the issues that brought us together. By helping us pay down the debt from one of the hardest-fought races in Democratic primary history, you're making a real difference today for all our future efforts.

Plus, if you contribute $50, you'll get one of our winning t-shirts. It's a great statement about the spirit that drove our campaign, and I hope you'll get one for yourself!

Contribute $50 to help pay down our debt, and you'll get a t-shirt with our winning design.

Thank you for everything!

Hillary Rodham Clinton

Camille - Go to hillaryclinton.com if you want to contribute toward Hillary's debt. If you have any concerns about making a contribution through a web site (this or any other). Clinton's campaign web site is up and running and features a bit "CONTRIBUTE" button on the home page.

you have the WRONG link!!!

Note that the link you are using goes to the form to raise money for her SENATE re-election fund. The campaign made this switch without giving anyone a heads up and it has screwed up donations.

IF you have already donated via this link, write to finance@hillaryclinton.com and tell them your donation is to only be used to retiring her debt. Make sure you ask for confirmation back via email. I did this and they were fast to respond.

If you have not yet contributed, go to http://www.hillaryclinton.com and click on the HUGE "Contribute" button on the graphic asking us to retire her debt. You can't miss it and it takes you to the CORRECT form to retire her debt!

Please fix this link on the site as well, so people are sent to the correct location.

Thanks!

I just used part of my "stimulus" check to contribute $200 to retire Hillary's debt. Today is my late husband's birthday, and also my best friend's birthday (she's also a Hillary supporter). So, I am making this contribution to "our girl" in their honor.

This makes a total of $1900 I have contributed during & after the whole campaign. I am 70 years young, retired after a long career in public relations & advertising. Obviously, I live on a small, fixed income. I feel VERY strongly about retiring Sen. Clinton's debt. If we want women (and especially Hillary) to run for office, we all must put our money where our mouths are! We cannot let her suffer the ignomy of having a big unpaid debt. Just think of the horrible, hateful pundits having a field day with that!

I have contributed a little every month, as best I can, and made up for it by doing without a dinner or so a month out with my friends. It's THAT important to me! If I can do it with my limited income, anyone can. Please people, hurry and help her out...

Why didn't you Hillary supporters contribute to her campaign while she was runnning for the nomination? Too little too late, it seems. I do wish you luck, however, in paying off her debt. I am sure Mark Penn will be eternally grateful. With all the smart women out there, she chose this bozo to advise her, and now she owes him 5 million dollars.
