Good news...I spoke to a now FORMER Obama supporter today. He is African American with strong roots in Kenya. He is very offened at the Jesse Jackson remarks and says it "shows how us black people continue to infight". He asked me why I thought Obama didn't throw Jackson "under the bus". Any thoughts?
007 What are your thoughts? Why do you think Obama didn't distance himself from Jackson, nor did Jackson distance himself from Obama, making all kinds of proclaimataions after it hit the media about his unwavering support for Obama. How do you figure?
Well Jackson has run for Office before, so maybe Obama doesn't want to anger his core group of voters, and civil rights activists? Jackson is obviously mad at Obama's move to the center. Maybe it is his way of applying pressure. They need each other for some reason. And Jackson KNEW it was a "hot mike".
Love the videos. The gentleman speaking in the top video was great, except he, like the rest of the media, referred to Obama as the "Democratic nominee for president". No he's not. He's the "presumptive nominee" which is quite different. We won't have an actual nominee until the end of next month and if miracles happen, let's pray it will be Hillary. Meanwhile, I encourage anyone who feels compelled to correct anything they see or hear in the media to do so by contacted the media outlet and/or the person who was interviewed. (Since this guy was so great in his position about Obama's vote, I decided to let it go and not contact him.)
It's just laughable how he jumps on and off the band wagon depending who his audience is..I read on one of these sites that they now call him..."liar,liar, pants on fire"..I think that would be an awesome bumper sticker.. "Liar,Liar,Pants on Fire" in 2008? Not likely..or here's another one..."You're Judged By the Company Your Keep" Obama/Wright/Resko in 2008..
