Hillraisers not falling behind Obama

You can read the rest at independent.co.uk
Many of Hillary Clinton's most prominent supporters, including a number of her famous "Hillraisers," are either defecting to the Republican John McCain or withholding their support from the Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Chief among them is the founder of the Esprit clothing store chain Susie Tompkins Buell who is bitter at what she claims was the sexist treatment of Mrs Clinton by the media during the campaign. "What really hurt women the most was to look back and see all this gender bias," she declared.

Many disaffected Clinton supporters and fundraisers believe Mr Obama did not do enough during the primary contest to end what they believe was a sneering campaign in the media. They are still angry at the way pundits referred to Mrs Clinton's laugh as a "cackle."

There is also anger at the way the mainstream media picked up on the comedian Chris Rock's comparison of Mrs Clinton to the knife- wielding madwoman in the movie Fatal Attraction.

BRAVO TO THOSE MONEY MAKERS WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO TURN THEIR BACK ON THE DNC, HOWARD, NANCY, BILL (RICHARDSON), DONNA, BARACK AND OTHERS WHO ARE ATTEMPTING THIS COUP D'ETAT/HOSTILE TAKEOVER.

IF CLINTON DIDN'T SAY IT IN EUROPE, I'D LIKE TO SAY IT - THEY CAN KISS MY ASS!!!

BRAVO SUPPORTERS OF CLINTON WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO STAND ON PRINCIPLE!

BRAVO TO THE CLINTONS FOR PLAYING AS HONORABLY AS THEY POSSIBLY COULD!

BRAVO TO THOSE WHO WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA ON PRINCIPLE!

ONE VOTE, COUNT EVERY VOTE, EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

WAKE UP AMERICA!

WISE UP DEMOCRATS!!!

While I wasn't chosen as a National Delegate for Hillary, I still hope she takes it to the convention!!!

Some things ya just gotta do on principle, plain and simple; and this is one of those times.

Jane....I couldn't agree with you more...this whole primary has left a very bad taste in my mouth...I feel this should go to the Convention and let that decide it...I applaud Hillary and Bill..Chelsea, too...I will never trust Obama and that's that...we all know who should be the candidate and can only hope that things change before November...Obama used his "smooth talking" ways to lure people into believing all of what said...He talked "changes"...but..never said what those "changes" were....We need "experience"...and, Hillary has that experience....she can do the job and get results!!
GO HILLARY!!

NoBoama...today he regrets having his kids on tv...changed his mind about that one...today he also voted on the senate floor about FISA. Will he soon change his stance on that too as he has on Irac, faith based programs, abortion, the church he has been a member of for over 20 years...is this the change he is talking about? What happens when he gets that 3 am call on the "red phone"...will he later appologise for making the wrong decision? Constant change...the new frontier.
