Just sent this email:

Democratic Party of Wisconsin
Joe Wineke, DP Chair

Democracy: Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives.

Debra Bartoshevich has the right as we all do under this definition to vote for whom we please. Allow Ms Bartoshevich this right to vote for Hillary R Clinton as did 18,000,000 other free Democratic voters of this country did in this past primary.

Hillary was elected by the people, Obama was selected by the DNC...not a very democratic process & there are 18,000,000 voters who feel the same way.

Respectfully,

Formal Democrat now a Republican due to the DNC's UN-democratic process!

isabel, it IS disturbing. The democratic party is no longer operating like a democratic party. They are operating like an Obama party and we are sore losers because we are not falling in line.

Rules are rules... and they keep wanting to bend those rules to suit Obama.

To Poster #6: I think the "rules are rules" argument is problematic here (and don't freak out - I'm an ardent Clinton supporter) since this was the very argument the DNC used with regard to FL and MI. From my perspective, it's not so much a case of whether the DNC is ignoring rules or creating rules, as much as it is that they're doing both and everything in between in order to rally behind Obama. Their agenda for doing so remains quite unclear to me, but it's quite disturbing.

The DNC is delusional. They are going to fix it so HIllary delegates can't support her at the convention THINKING once they get Obama nominated we will obviously fall in line (bringing up the womens issues at this crucial time is no accident to try and win us over come November. Don't fall for it people. McCain is workable. The DNC and no Obama needs a lesson in doing what is right by their voters.

The reason many Democratic supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don't know all about him.

1. They don't want a candidate that has been in a twenty year relationship with Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.

2. They don’t’ want a candidate that has a twenty year relationship with Father Pflaeger as his compass in life

3. They don’t want a candidate that went to a church that supports Louis Farrakhan, an anti Semitic racist.

4. They don't want to defend Black Liberation theology.

5. They don’t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.

6. They don't want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.

7. They don’t want a candidate that Hamas supports.

8. They don’t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support

9. They don’t want a candidate that has a wife that has just now realized she was proud of our country.

10. They don’t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices

11. They don’t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)

12. They don’t want a candidate that fights unfair and steals Michigan delegate votes from his opponent.

13. They don't want a candidate that is inexperienced, especially dealing with military issues.

14. They don’t want a candidate that considers it a loss to not to be able to attend his anti American, racist Church.

15. They don’t want a candidate that has a “non practicing” Muslim father, but avoids the entire discussion of his father.

16. They don’t’ want a candidate that won’t debate

17. They don’t’ want a candidate that misleads the youth with an ‘Obama girl and her behind in their face”

18. They don’t want a candidate that says he’s an African American and missed the MLK Remembrance Day and the Louisiana Black Caucus meeting

19. They don’t want a candidate that enjoys laughing at sexism

20. They don't want a candidate that switches his position on gun control, FISA, the war in Iraq, religion and government....

21. They don't want a candidate that showcases his daughters on TV shows.

22. They don’t’ want a candidate that has poor judgment.

23. They don’t' want a candidate named; Barack Hussein Obama

24. He is embarrassing.

25. He scares them to death.

Obama is scary, risky and should step down, regardless if the media thinks he's the messiah.

This man is an embarrassment.

Americans are beginning to notice his coverage and they don't like it.
If you look at the daily numbers the past two weeks, you'll notice Obama's six-point edge has disappeared.

How is this happening with all the slavish attention for Obama's world tour?

The American people are not as crazy and don't make money from his speeches as the media does.

Well, it could be people are so turned off by the fawning coverage of Obama, which has gotten so ridiculous in recent days to the point where even the leftist media is noticing how out of control it is.

ConObama
Obama has fixed this race by deception to Americans. He has lied about his background and his connections with radical, anti American, anti semitic leaders and pastors until just a few months ago.

He has hidden his relationship with his mentor Reverend Wright, his idol “Nation of Islam’ leader Louis Farrakhan, Syrian Criminal and coworker, Anton Rezko and his belief system of Black Liberation Theology since the beginning of the primary.

Many Americans and all of my community have changed their minds about this man and will not vote for him in the general election because of this lies and deception

This whole election process, especially not seating Florida and Michigan with over 300 delegates, is a disgrace for the American people. Maps with only 48 states were being shown thoroughout the primary. These maps and math were inaccurate but convined superdelegates that Obama was in the lead. Obama kept bragging: “I am the one with the most delegates, I have the most states, I am the one”

There are 50 states in our country. Obama did everything in his power to convince everyone that there is only 48 by not recognizing millions of voters. He fought against them “we have to follow the rules” Michigan and Florida were in Clinton’s favor. Why would he try to be fair?

For those people that were too young to know President Clinton
He is not liked, but loved through out the world. Our country was thriving, the era was "upbeat" and there was peace in our country.
There is no way to compare "Obama to either of the Clintons” He knows it.

The media has painted President Clinton as a racist in spite of the fact that he has an office in Harlem His years in office were spent fighting for civil rights and for the underdog, especially African Americans.
The coverage of President Clinton and the Afircan American hatred towards Clintons was not only disgraceful, but cruel.

On Fox News Sunday, Williams claimed Obama's Muslim father "presents a problem"

Trinity United Church of Christ, Tony Rezko, Louis Farrakhan and Muslim upbringing should have been a wake up call to Democrats.

On the Fox Broadcasting Co.'s Fox News Sunday, National Public Radio senior correspondent and Fox News contributor Juan Williams noted that Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) "comes from a father who was a Muslim" and added that "given that we're at war with Muslim extremists, that presents a problem."

How much more bad news do we need to know about the Democrat candidate Senator Obama. before we realize that this man is laughing up his sleeve at all of us.

Now he’ll have to stand tall next to Clintons bragging about all they have done for him and how terrific they are. This man is more than a typical politician, he’s a Chicago con.

Free Concert by Popular Band Preceded Obama’s Big Rally

News busters.org

From CNN to the New York Times, the media hyped Barack Obama's Portland, Oregon rally on Sunday, some comparing him to a rock star.
Unmentioned in national reporting was the fact that Obama was preceded by a rare, 45-minute free concert by actual rock stars The Decemberists. T

he Portland-based band has drawn rave reviews from Rolling Stone magazine, which gave their 2005 album Picaresque four and a half stars (out of five), and another four and a half stars for 2007's The Crane Wife.

How many of the people showed up to hear Obama, and how many to hear the band?

Here's how the local paper The Oregonian, which estimated the crowd at 72,000, reported the rally:

"Obama was the biggest star at Sunday's gathering -- though a popular Portland band, The Decemberists, provided the warmup act. With blue skies and temperatures in the 80s, many in the crowd said Waterfront Park was simply the place to be."

CNN headlined its 10 p.m. segment on May 18 with "Barack Obama: Achieving Rock Star Status in Oregon."

The New York Times, which ran a color photo of the crowd, estimated the throng at 75,000, noting that it was "the largest crowd of his campaign so far." There was no mention of The Decemberists, and the Times described the weather as "an unseasonably hot day."

Indie rock Web sites were abuzz with news of the impending concert, which was also announced on the Obama campaign's Web site.
Here's the report from the Indie rock Web site Pitchfork:

By land and by sea, they came to see the great man speak. An estimated 75,000 in all turned out to see presidential hopeful Barack Obama at Portland's Waterfront Park yesterday afternoon-- a record crowd for Obama's own campaign, according to The New York Times, and a record crowd for Oregon political events, according to The Oregonian. Just look at them all!

And hey, they got to see a pretty sweet opening act too. Calling themselves the Decemberists and led by lovably literate Steve Novick endorser Colin Meloy, this feisty fivepiece charmed the gathered for a good 45 minutes before Senator Obama took the stump.

They even closed out with a sing-along entitled "Sons & Daughters", which had the masses joining the band to declare "Here all the bombs fade away..." Something tells me this Decemberists band is going places. Just like Senator Obama.

Here's how Pitchfork primed the pump for the concert/rally:
Indie rock's #1 candidate crush Barack Obama is sittin' quite a bit prettier than he was a few weeks ago when the Arcade Fire and Bruce Springsteen went to bat for him, but the dashing junior Senator hasn't quite clinched the Democratic party nomination yet.

Next up on the primary agenda are Oregon and Kentucky, whose voters hit the polls Tuesday, May 20. Should Obama win a heaping majority of the delegates up for grabs that day, he'll be within inches of securing the hotly-contested nom.

And look who's arrived to give Obama the extra push he needs to get on the ballot in November. Why, it's none other than those kings and queens of the month after, the Decemberists!

There's nothing wrong with a candidate using celebrity power to draw a crowd, but the media have a responsibility to report their presence.

By ignoring the free concert, the Times and other outlets made it appear that 75,000 people were drawn only by Sen. Obama's considerable charisma.
