He Ventured Forth To Bring Light To The World

--
The anointed one's pilgrimage to the Holy Land is a miracle in action - and a blessing to all his faithful followersGerard Baker
And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”

The DNC voted Friday to strip Debra Bartoshevich of her delegate status. If this site doesn't post something about it soon (which I expect they will), head on over to notfallinginline, where there's a letter and contact links to help you take action.

Should this story be posted on the Hillary Grassroots Website? It seems to me that the story praises Mr. Obama (or perhaps I got it wrong). I thought that this Website is not for Mr. Obama, which is the reason why I join the blog.

Please link where you read that Debra had her Delegate status taken away by the DNC.

What is this about Debra Bartoshevich. I thought we were a democracy....or what is going on here? What can we do about this?

Jane - If you go the the notfallinginline web site, they have the story posted there. I am trusting their integrity to have the story right. Just type in www.nontfallinginline.com and you'll get to their site. (For some reason, whenver I type in the URL address on this blog, it doesn't enable a person to click on it to link directly.

Gloria - Sorry, I hit the button before responding to your post. I feel as you do as so many of us do. It's hard not to feel baffled and outraged and confused and at the same time disheartened and frustrated that our voices are not being heard. But, I must have hope and faith that in a democracy, the kinds of autocratic behavior the DNC is exhibiting will not, in the end, be tolerated.

My theory is that the McCain campaign and the GOP aren't being too aggressive right now about these things because they'd prefer Obama to be the nominee and not Clinton and that if Obama does become the official nominee after the convention, they will be all over it. At least that is my hope. Meanwhile, I just keep taking action every day. What else can one do?
