My best friend is going nuts about this debate. She loves Sarah Palin and she thinks she would make such a good president, let alone VP. If McCain doesnt show up tonight, VOTE PALIN FOR PRES! Hahahaa. What do you guys think is going to happen with this debate?

Anonymous said...

I am an Independent voter. I've always voted Democrat. Hillary was my candidate, but Obama won the nomination. I will not vote for Obama, but do not wish to vote for McCain. I love Ralph Nader, but am forced to feel like I need to vote Democrat or Republican all the time because those are the two major and popular parties, thus making my vote not count. I will NOT not vote...so what am I to do?

Anonymous said...

Hahaha! Actually I do like Palin a lot. I really like McCain, too, but I'm just not sure about another Republican in office right now.

A said...

Personally I think winning will be like losing. Who ever wins, will have the bad economy and all the problems of the middle east blamed on him. I actually feel sorry for who ever actually wins. It will be a quick 4 years.

Anonymous said...

Great point!

Holly, I don't understand how anybody can think Sarah Palin would make a good president! Am I the only one who watched her interview on The Today Show? Sure she's a excellant public speaker, as for thinking on her feet..she failed..how can we count on someone ordinary to lead us during these extraordinary problems?

As for McCain, the fact he wanted postpone for the reasons he stated shows he will not be able to handle all the pressures being the president will bring for him. He obviously can't multi task..which is a must! How ridiculous!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous I am with you..I was an a Hillary supporter 100% but I will not vote for Obama. However, I do not want to vote for Mccain either...

Anonymous said...

Psychokiller...first of all, your blog name says a lot about you. Second of all, McCain wanted to postpone do to the financial state America is in right now. As you will remember, or maybe not, Clinton tried to get Obama to debate and Obama refused. Obama flip-flops on everything. You want that in your leader?

Anonymous said...

Brooke: So what do we do then?! Lol! ('Anonymous' was me. I hit that on accident)

I'm so excited about this debate tonight. i am a strait up Obama supporter and i fully believe that he has the best interest of the american people on his agenda. i was originally a Hillary supporter but when she fell out of the race I followed suit and through my support toward Obama. Those of you who through your support toward Mccain after Hillary fell out are ignorant to Hillary stand in the political game. her and Obama have democratic values and have the SAME agena. For you to throw your support to Mccain because he picked a woman as a vice president is beyond me. She isn't even a good choice. So think about the issues as opposed to how much you LOVE a candidate.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous: Noone here said that they were voting for McCain, much less that they were voting for him because his vpe is a woman. Read before you get passionately upset.

Anonymous said...

Obama is SO unclassy and full of it.

Anonymous said...

Angie..lol spoken like a true Republican..taking something for face value. What is in a name?
Primary debates are on a much smaller scale then the Presidential debates. Do you actually think before you speak, or does it just come pooring out like word vomit?

I too was a Hilary supporter, and disapointed with the out come of the nomination. I however think you have to choose which candidate would bring the most positive changes, which this country needs!

A friend reminded me of this quote I'd like to share.
Patriotism means being loyal to your country all of the time, and being loyal to your country when it deserves it.

McCain seems to be holding his own. Hit's Obama with the Bush/Cheney energy bill. Ouch!!

Hahahaha! Oh boy. We're in trouble.

Right 'A'?! That was pretty awesome right there! Lol!

Anonymous said...

...and another punch from McCain!

Obama is like that annoying kid in class that just wants everyone to know what they have done.

Anonymous said...

I miss Hillary. =(

Anonymous said...

lol Ricco, i'd have to say every candidate in history informed us of their accompishments.

Anonymous said...

Hahahaha Ricco! So right!

Anonymous said...

I miss Hillary too Ricco, but we have to work with what we have.

Anonymous said...

I wish that people would look beyond Palin's glasses and see that she is fake. Honestly, what would she do for this country? If McCain died and she was President she wouldn't even know where to start. I hope, for the good of our country, that everyone votes for Obama. At least he has a shot.

Anonymous said...

A shot at what?

Anonymous said...

Yes! Thank you .. I agree, she's a total fake. The plan is as plane as day..repbublicans trying to gain Hillary supporters. She's like a celebrity.. plastic as a Barbie Doll

Anonymous said...

Hahaha! You two have a lot to learn.

Anonymous said...

Was everyone as upset about Dan Quale. He was a total idiot with no potential. Yes Sarah isn't polished and perfect... thats her charm... that and her potential... She's no fool. Besides SHES NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT... Can we focus on the front runners?

Anonymous said...

McCain is soooooooooooooo boring... he talks in circles.

Anonymous said...

Angie.. lol " a shot at what?" HELLO , McfLY!

Anonymous said...

Ricco, I agree.

Anonymous, as for McCain being boring, it may be because you have no idea what the issues are about. McCain is a class act. At least he's been getting Osama...oops...Obama's name right.

Anonymous said...

everyone should be scared as hell listening to these two morons. these two don't know their butts from a whole in the ground. we need another slot on the ballots that say "None of the Above" if you don't like the two choices then come up with two more and keep doing it until we find someone that we like, it should not be the better of two evils.

Anonymous said...

Psycho, you're a moron. I asked that because it made no sense what-so-ever as to what your other moronic friend wrote. It went something like this:

Hotairhotairhotair. At least Obama has a shot. Duh, moron. They both do.

Michelle Bart said...

"Old News is No News!" I participated in better debates in college, this debate is a joke. I think Obama is holding his own, but he is limited to debate against someone debating like a child; give me a break, this has to be the most boring debate I have seen in years. Nothing new, no new plans, and jeez to think McCain wanted to miss out on all this excitement in order to protect America from a "Turkey Burger Budget" - (Tina Fey) fight on Capital Hill, give me a break.

Tell us the PLAN, right now not hearing anything about what we're going to do, all they are talking about is what happened and why we are where we are at: SO WHAT...tell us where we're going and when we will be back on our feet.

Oh yes, bailing out the big guys who are trying to collect from me ever day at 80% interest on later payments, completely against. They already raped us, if our Government go the route Bush wants to do, you might as well throw salt into the wound of all of us that worked hard to get to where we are only for us to be shot down by the big guys. Bail them out, LOLOLOOLOOLLOLOOLOLOLOOLOOLO - GIVE ME A BREAK.

Anonymous said...

Bottom line, Obama's tiny record isn't perfect and since its so short it should be. McCain isn't perfect but he averages out a heck of alot better than Obama. I would trust McCain because I know what to expect from him based on his record. Obama doesn't give me that confidence. Sorry. I've tried and tried to give him the benefit of doubt but I don't know who's pulling his puppet strings. Obama didn't get here on his own... watch him now... who has been propping him up? What is thier plan for America? I know McCain is his own man and thats why he has my vote.

Anonymous said...

Michelle, what's you want? Would it have been better if it were more like the DNC and someone came out saying "Are you ready to ruuuumble?!".

And it is your messiah who is the one debating like a child. Wake up.

Anonymous said...

Ricco, I agree. I now have made my mind up on who I am voting for.

Anonymous said...

Obama says that he is going to be President every ten minutes. HAHA. McCain can't say the names of foreign people.

Anonymous said...

as i said "word vomit".. angie you act like you're watching a foot ball game. lol
nice articulation..insults like "he stinks"
ANGIE FOR PRESIDENT!

Anonymous said...

yes.. they both aren't looking too great. sad days ahead.

Anonymous said...

Obama's getting ripped a new one...someone needed to do it. Finally.

A said...

That Presidential Seal comment was hilarious. Remember that hideous Obama seal?

Anonymous said...

Well now I know why Obama didn't want to debate McCain before this. He reminded me of a car salesman, the guy at your job that will steal your ideas and present them as his own, the rich guy that forgot where he came from, the guy that wants the job even though they know someone else would be better at the job and the kind of guy that would cut your legs and then call you shorty.

Anyway, now I wanna see Palin and Biden. THAT will be a fun one. It was fun Angie. Peace out.

It's kind of sad to see Hillary supporters backing McCain. It's a sad day to be a democrat after reading these comments. I see it's a lot of females who jumped boat, especially with McCain's awful choice of VP. Palin is a joke. Tina Fey did a great job impersonating her on SNL.....although Palin sounds ridiculous enough on her own. She was laughable in an interview with Katie Couric.

I don't see McCain as ripping Obama at all in this debate. The one thing that I saw was saying Obama has all this money in earkamrked programs. However, these programs (health care, etc.) are a much better way than to go and invade Iran and spend more than 10 billion a month with a 3-sided war. Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran....just what we need.

McCain won't win the presidency of the United States.

Anonymous said...

Ricco is joking right? Obama got ahold of McCain and tried to get a joint statement about the economy. McCain, jumped the boat and said something along the lines that "Obama wants a joint statement, but we need action". Yea, way to steal that McCain....take credit for what wasn't your idea.

Obama didn't want to debate?!?!?! HAHAHAHA!!! Another joke! McCain wanted to cancel it for his race to fix the cratered economy. Canceling or post-poning a debate only helps the GOP....because the polls are sliding. McCain better hope he garners some weight in these debates. The more Palin speaks, the more the polls slide in Obama's favor.

It's bothersome to see someone with ideas for policies that are very similar to Hillary getting out-right rejected by apparent flip-flip dems.

Anonymous said...

McCain must be so old he forgets sometimes. Why would he go on such a huge tangent on Pakistan and be totally off-base of what Obama was actually saying?

Michelle was right.....McCain did indeed seem to be debating like a little kid.

I still can't wait to see Biden destroy Palin in the VP debates. He will make her cry I think. She can't handle Katie Couric....what's to make anyone believe she can handle an actual debate against someone who is more worldly, better spoken, intelligent, and articulate than her?

Memphismom said...

BORING is right. Mcnuggit was so off track. All he did was to speak about HIS past. Not about OUR future.
You could see the old fart getting madder and madder.
Not once would he look at Obama, but Obama often watched him.
You know the grandfather types that can only talk about the good old days? Well that's what he reminded me of, but only BORING! Now Obama should have been more agressive. It's like he felt sorry for the old guy.

Rockin Robin said...

sorry I missed all the fun here. I was lounging on my couch watching the debates.

did anyone notice Obama's comment about Medicare? OMG! Do you think he alienated ALL the elderly votes and about half the baby boomers?

This goes to show that his elist world is way out of touch with the people's needs.

Anonymous said...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp4c

Watch that. It may enlighten you.

Memphismom, it's nice to see you aren't some bandwagon jumper onto the McCain/Palin ticket. Hillary is a Dem, and so is Obama. Fundamental ideals are close.....more than the worlds apart that Hillary is to McCain. All these people posting on the Hillary board in favor of McCain. Makes me ill almost....especially that Hillary endorsed Obama on numerous occasions.

Anonymous said...

I was and AM an intense Hillary supporter (I am 38 and from Los Angeles, CA). But even SHE said we should vote for Obama...so I don't see the issue here. I agree with her. Palin, by the way, is revolting and the EXACT opposite of the direction this country should be going in. She is sickening. McCain is hundreds of thousands of years old, ill and considerably like Bush in most of his views. I do NOT want ecven the THREAT of that Palin woman being our president.

Anonymous said...

Although a Democrat since 1960, and a Hillary supporter, there is no way I can vote for Obama who didn't win the nomination legally.
Caucus fraud, DNC hijacking delegates, etc etc,

Issues smissues, how can you support a fraudulent corrupt party by voting for the candidate they manufactured. Voting for McCain is the only way to protect our country from future corruption and protest the DNC fraud.

It has nothing to do with McCain picking a woman, although it was a brilliant move.

Obama was 2nd or 3rd after Dodd in benefiting from Fannie bailout etc.
Both Republicans and Dems profited from this even my beloved Hillary.
I guess no one is perfect and I would still support her, but can't condone following her by supporting Obama. Country over party first for me. Sorry Hillary. Keep doing the great job you are doing for the folks.

Get real obama is still in diapers. He has ABSOLUTELY no EXPERIENCE.. would you hire someono for a high level position for your company? I sure wouldnt! He memorized his lines well, but we all know he comes with a speech!

Anonymous said...

I think McCain acted like the old man next door yelling at kids to get off the lawn...he was talking down to Obama like he was some kindergarten. And yes, in the beginning when McCain was talking about the bear's dna test...I do remember fact checking it...he voted for it. In some polls people are afraid to vote for McCain because of Palin's positions or lack of experience. Some of them have found some convictions about her evangelical background when she was part of a church that is part of the Third Wave Movement. I personally think McCain's only decision he had to make as a candidate...he failed. I am voting for Obama for change and to keep republicans out... McCain didn't even look at Obama...like HE was above Obama. Are we kidding ourselves? I believe we should raise some taxes OR take out all these loop-holes that these corporations find. Sure we have one of the highest taxes...but after corporations find the loop-holes, it's far from the highest. Most of the Obama plans on foreign policy that he has made...months or so later, they finally do them and they work. McCain seemed like a grandpa talking about how things were like they were right. Let us not forget that he once believed he should have been able to fly more planes over Vietnam to kill more people. He dares to even say it in one of his books. Of all the things that Obama has said tonight...I believe the one thing I liked though is when Obama pointed out McCain being wrong on a 1,2,3. The debate was supposed to have a little bit of eye contact...McCain looked angry because he just looked down and made a few smirks. How disrespectful to your opponent. This made me quite upset.

Anonymous said...

There are few people who are bigger Hillary supporters than I!! I about cried when Barack won the nomination in the end...but I will seriously be disappointed (and move to another country) if you all decide to vote for McCain instead!! His policy platform couldn't be MORE the opposite of what Hillary stands for!!

Make your vote in support of national health care, the care of the environment, and the average working person in the United States...and DO NOT be persuaded by the fake and ignorant platform that McCain and Palin are running on!! VOTE OBAMA!! Please!!

Anonymous said...

I don't like both candidates. But I disagree with some Democrats here on the board. I don't think just because you are registered republican or democrat that you should always vote straight ticket. That's the beauty of being able to vote. (not talking about primaries)

There are a few things that bother me especially when I was bummed that Hillary didn't win:
1. Both McCain and Obama are not what the country needs.

2. Reagan was 69 when he became president and did two terms so I have a problem with people killing off McCain before he's even 6 feet under ground.

3. Ever since this presidential campaign became as tabloid as TMZ, I've stopped watching

4. Palin is NOT who is running...let's stop that much coverage on her.

I miss you Hillary

Wow, McCain trounced Obama? Surely didn't seem that way. 51% to 35% from the general public? That's nearly 20% gap.

You are entitled to your skewed opinion though.....

Sue, you can get your point across without multi-posting and cursing like a sailor. Wow.

As my husband and I both watched the much anticipated debate last night, Our thoughts were the same for once. Of course we had our hearts set on Hilliary making it, But since that is o option, we were planning on going with whomever she endorsed. But, after watching the debate...we just don't care for either candidate. Even though McCain has our respect, we are in no way impressed with Sarah Palin. We were just not impressed with either candidate in the first debate. I hope Obama steps up to the plate and addresses (at least a few) of our concerns and we all know what they are. I am just sick and tired of hearing the candidates talk about WHAT IS WRONG and NOT WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO ABOUT OR AT LEAST THEIR PLANS. I am just sick Hilliary is not up there. I do't know what is going to happen.

Go ahead and vote for the grumpy old man, FOOLs, and see what you get for the next 4 years! It's obvious that John "I'm not Miss Congeniality" McCain doesn't have the temperament to be President.

It terrifies me that there are democrats in here that are not voting for Obama. Do we really want to just give this election to McCain, because Obama isn't Hillary? Yes, I wanted her, too. She's amazing, and would have done us a lot of good, but unfortunetely, she's not on the ballot, and we have to vote for whats best for the country. A vote for McCain/Palin would mean a vote for staying almost exactly where we are right now, and have been for 8 years... or worse. At least with Obama, we're headed in the right direction. He wasn't my first choice, but he's a hell of alot better of a choice than ANY republican who supported Bush.

I don't think there was a winner in last night's debate. Both men said things that are politically damaging. I watched Ralph Nader on Bill Maher last night, and he was talking about how ridiculous it was for Obama to say that he wanted more troops in Afganistan because it would be a quagmire. Obama initially voted against the War In Iraq because he believes in peace, so why is he talking about more war. Why can't the democrats ever say what they REALLY stand for? I think this year I will vote for Nader, if he is on the ballot in my state...

PS

I'm going to see her speak today, in my city. So excited. Guess who she's campaigning for? Come on people, if she's behind him, and we were/are behind her, shouldn't we get behind him?

Thanks Tasha but no thanks. I don't like Obama and some of his supporters as you see here on this thread are downright hostile.

No thank you.

Even Obama's campaign is teaching his supporters how to cheat on aol polls ~ check it out

Okay, I've been a Democrat for many years and this year I will be switching my vote to an Indpendent on the ballot. While my vote won't mean much at least I will be voting. IF ONLY more Americans see that we do have another choice and that is the third party on the ticket then we would DEFINITELY see CHANGE in the Whitehouse. Imagine if on election day MORE people voted independent and kicked both parties out because we are sick and tired of the same b***shit year after year. Why do we always have to pick either a Dem or Rep to the Whitehouse. Put an Independent in the house and see the REAL change...Now that will definitely blow those two parties socks off. So, if you're sick of both parties...go out there and cast your vote to an Independent. I've spoken to people who are deciding not to vote this year because they don't care for either candidate...I tell them you know you do have another option...that is either Independent or the Green Party. Wake UP America...Let's CHANGE the process one vote at a time with a new party and new blood!

Anonymous said...

well.. not sure how much good that would do, voting for an independant.. very small percentage will do that. True, it's better then not voting at all.

Like I commented last night, I was very disapointed Hillary didn't win the nomination. Life goes on, and we have to make the best of the situation. Hillary supports Obama at this point.. hands down.

The point was attempted earlier that we shouldn't focas on Sarah Palin, and only hold our attention to McCain as he is the front runner. What?! LOL he she is his running mate, which he chose hoping we would focas on that, lead the sheep away from Hillary! Hello, John McCain is a very old man, we can't predict his health for the next four years..who would run this country under the circumstance he should die, or become sick? That's right, Sarah Palin would.

GO OBAMA!!

People before you cast your vote on a virtually unknown candidate you better research Obama thoroughly. The man behind Obama is Zbigniew Brzezinski who 30 years ago dominated (principle foreign advisor) the Carter Presidency and we all know how awful that was. Brezezinksi is very Anti-Russian which could lead to trouble in the future. Obama is backed by super-rich contributers; The Ford Foundation (check their facts and see for yourself); Bilderberger; Council of Foreign Relations; RAND Corporation; Chicago School; Woodrow Wilson Center to name a few. Are you aware that the Ford Foundation and the Trilateral Commission coordinate the Anglo-American Finance Oligarchy? They are supporting Obama.

Obama claims he wants peace but in the Chicago debate of July 07, he announced his intentions to bomb Pakistan without consulting the government of that nation, in order to eliminate what he called terrorist targets. He sounds like a trigger-happy candidate waiting to press the trigger once elected.
During the debate last night he used KILL several times in his speech. Does this sound like someone you want in charge?

Obama rejected Hillary's call for a freeze on home foreclosures. He offered counselors to provide emotional support for desperate homeowners as they were thrown into the streets! That's a really RADICAL CHANGE alright! Obama was also opposed to include money for winter fuel assistance to poor families (LIHEAP) as part of the so-called stimulus package passed by Congress in Feb 08. WHERE is his sense of community here? Who really OWNS Obama? Is it those elitist financiers using him as a puppet to bail out bankrupt Wall Street?

The corporate media hasn't dug deep enough to find out more about Obama. Do you wonder why or care? They make him sound like a messiah and the scary part of it all is that we have mobs of people approaching him with hero worship and transparent adulation.

Educate yourself about each candidate before you cast your vote on election day!

Just waiting for the last word -- McCAIN FOR PRESIDENT.

Nobama did the same thing he did with Hillary in the debates. "I agree with John", as he used to say "I agree with Hillary", I suppose he can't think for himself. As usual he was a bumbling idiot.

I was very favorably impressed with Senator McCain. It is my impression that many people who watched the debate hesitated to form an independent opinion about the performances or what they've heard until the talking heads that follow tell them what to think.
I was taken aback by the rudeness of Obama's several interruptions of McCain. I didn't hear any criticism of that ill-mannered behavior of a United States Senator. I recall several times, watching McCain listening in disciplined silence to Obama virtually lecturing him, but McCain, the proper man that he is, didn't interrupt.

About the on-stage argument, back and forth about former Secretary of State Kissinger's comment "without preconditions" clearly put McCain in the camp of accuracy and truth. Obama insisted time and again upon the wrong quoting of Kissnger's remarks. Why is Obama not being held to task for this clear argument and disagreement and misrepresentation of a fact discussed so importantly in the debate?

I admired McCain, his views, what he said and how he said it. I support him now more than ever. My disdain for Obama has intensified.

I am struck with the horror of the possibility of an Obama Presidency. He is a looming threat. I have great concern for my country and it's people.
If you are not for Obama, don't waste your vote.....make sure your vote counts double. Obama and his henchmen tried to prevent Floridian and Michigan votes from counting....now show him how your vote will count twice.....one they are not getting, and one that McCain is getting...

McCain interrupted Obama several times, sneered, jeered, and acted like a juvenile. If you think that's good debating, go back to school and take a communications class or two.

These debates don't do much more than cover the candidates' standard talking points.

The bottom line is: you want American to continue it's downward spiral into corporate corruption and the Great Depression Part II, vote for McSame (who wants to bomb, bomb, bomb the hell out of Iran etc.) and the Ignorant White Trash Pig (who believes women should carry their rapist's/brother's/uncle's/father's baby to term, Creationism should be taught in the public school system to our poor children as a "science," and that being able to see Russia from Alaska gives her foreign policy experience - DISGUSTING!!). If you want us to devolve 100 years -- vote for 'em. Go ahead.

If you want this country to at least have a fighting change to regain its standing in the world and start rebuilding, vote for Obama AND the Democrats -- Hillary will most likely have a much more powerful role in an Obama presidency. We have no choice until people in this country revolt and finally decide to invoke REAL CHANGE.

I love Hillary and was for her 100%, but to vote for McCain now is just completely idiotic. His platform stands for everything OPPOSITE to Clinton's values. Why would she want you to vote for him? It makes no sense.

Oh, and to those of you who say Palin is "only" the VP and let's focus on McCain? I need only remind you of one name: Cheney.

The prospect of these two ignoramuses, McSame/Palin, being in charge of the free world is truly terrifying.

Anonymous said...

The prospect of having Mr. Obama is president of this great country is even more terrifying.

McCain was specific and much better than expected, but Obama was his more of the same and typical "me too, but I disagree one bit, so I must be better..." glib generalities. Also, Obama, aka Mr. Cool, got rattled several times when McCain connected on some jabs; immediately following the debate, CNN quickly found that Obama had made several misleading misrepresentations, but not so for McCain, so McCain was ahead on the truth side as well. The real Maverick won, because Mr. Hope & Change wasn't sure what he was selling.

After last night's debate, I'm surprised any Hillary supporter would even consider voting for McCain. His performance was typical McCain: macho, war-mongering, lying in the face of the facts and insensitivity to the plight of the rest of us in our current national crisis, not to mention old-style politics at their finest.

I know it's a hard decision to make given the fact that the best candidate was passed over, but we need the Dems/Obama and Hillary at the helm if we ever hope to get out of the mess we've been put into -- not just over the past 8 years, but the Republican/Cheney, and yes McCain gurus who have been in charge and fostering deregulation for the past 30 years, with only a little respite during the Clinton years.

Let's not cut off our noses to spite our face by not voting, or voting for McCain and whats-her-name. We must be strong, and forgive Obama et al for their past sins in order to rid ourselves of the current toxic alternative. Please?

In my opinion, Obama was arrogant last night. He interrupted John McCain several times. I am glad that John McCain did not stop talking when Mr. Cool tried to interrupt him. Mr. Cool spoke from the text book he used during his practices.

Obama is just not ready for this job.

Trust me, voting Republican for the first time in my life didn't come easy. I was in Florida in 2000 when my vote was erased. I didn't want Bush. I didn't want the war. I am suspicious about 9/11.

It would seem that this administration cloaked as the far right kicked and elbowed thier way to everything they wanted. And America was voilated in the process. When I would go into the chatrooms during the times when the above was happening. I would have people attacking my as anti-american or as a stupid liberal who was scared to fight for America. They were pushy threating and down-right mean. Exactly like how the Obama-bots are now.

Now it seems that another trap has been laid under the cloak of the far left. Knowing Americans would be tired of what was, and would more than likely vote for the opposite of what is, they set up thier canidate and began herding the American people. The same way the Bush admin never settled right with me I feel the same way about Obama. I know Obama THINKS he's his own man the same way I child THINKS he can ride a bike with training wheels. Who really has gotten Obama this far? What is their plan for America?

Just because I am a registered Democrat does not mean I have to vote Democrat. I do not believe in Pelosi, Dean, Frank, etc. Thier judgement is not good to me. They never stood up to the misogyny that Hillary faced. They thought Obama was a given and they knew they would have higher positions with an Obama admin than they ever could with Hillary. Republicans within days united and stood up for Sarah. It was embarrasing that they had to show us how to stand up for your own.

I am not going to be herded. I am not going to be intimidated. I am going to vote what I think is right. I am not a mindless robot that just votes for the party I am registered with.

When all is said and done, and the last vote is cast, I will have the pleasure of knowing that I will not be the blame for the next four years! Obama is not qualified, ans McCain scares the crap out of me. McCain want 45 new nuclear reactors built! That 45 new terrorist targets, that 45 new toxic waste producers! Can the Yucca mountains hold more toxic waste! Will the wild life die off with cancer, and birth defects? McCain admitted during the first debate that Economics is his weak subject. That is bad considering the present circumstances. As for obama, his experience doesn't even exceed a full term in the Senate! His inexperience will make him a slave to his advisors. Will he be the fallguy to Bush's failed policies? Or will McCain bring this country down in a ball of flames. It is a real shame that Ron Paul had all the answers, but the big media prevented him from allowing the majority of the public know. If you didn't GOOGLE:Ron Paul, you might not know where he stands on the issues. If you didn't find his wealth of youtube videos, you might not have heard him speak. If you didn't stumble accross his 64,000 meet-up group accross the world- you might not have known he had a following. Ron Paul can be the trumpeteer of American freedoms. I find it saddening to hear (Quite often) that individuals I conversed with would vote for Ron Paul if they felt he had a chance of winning. This tells me they support him, but are too scared to vote out of principle, rather than the lesser of the two evils. Forget the odds, If you knew them you would go to the casinos! Gambling is a game of chance, and voting is a leap of faith. We should never deviate from our beliefs. If we fall for the two party monopoly, then we will be forever dependent on foreign, and special interests. I will vote for Ron Paul this election, not out of protest, but out of support for his values. He is the only candidate who addressed every issue without hesitation. He is the only candidate who allowed us to know why we are headed towards a depression, due to out of control inflation. He is the only candidate who wants to inflate the value of the dollar. And he is the only candidate who wants to shut the doors to the federal reserve, and IRS. As long as our government continues to live above their means, we will be forced to live below them. While our government considers bailing out banks that have allowed borrowers to open loans they could not afford, these financial institutions took advantage of the people to acquire equity in repo'ed homes, and land. Once the government grand the bailout the banks will acquire record profits, while the taxpayer foots the bill. I agree with Ron Paul, when he said to allow these banks to liquidate their assets, and for the government to not prop up bad debt. This bail out will keep inflation high, and the bubble will get bigger as the value of the dollar drops. Do you want to see a depression even worse than the first one? You could live off of a single income then- try doing that today! I will not be the blame for turning this country into a welfare state. I will not be the blame why your family can't eat three meals a day. I will not be the blame if the only profitable form of employment is enlisting in the Army. I will not be the blame for the NAU, or the TTC. And I will not be the blame, why either of the front running candidates get into office. I am voting for our freedom, and liberties....I am voting for RON PAUL for President 2008!

In Liberty,

What the hell? Mentioning Obama wanting troops in Afghanistan and comparing it to how he voted against the war in Iraq. 2 completely different things....wow. Talking about how Obama is all about war? McCain wants to step in and attack Iran. Wow, just what we need, a 3 front war. We should be in Afghansitan, not in Iraq but will be, and then in Iran. McCain wants to throw away MORE than 10 billion dollars a month....which we are already spending now for the pointless war we are in.

Give me a break. McCain will press the red button against North Korea and others too. It will be a sad sad nation if the trigger-happy maverick gets into office.

HOW FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

I love Hillary but another 4 years of Republicans scares the life out of me! PLEASE vote democrat! It is so sad that we are in 2008 and please still can't see past the color of someone's skin, if OBAMA's name would be RICHARD and he was WHITE he would be winning by 20 points!!!

LOOK AT THE ISSUES!!! LOOK AT THE LOSS OF JOBS!!

Mccain wants to stay in this war for 4 MORE YEARS!!! please guys do your homework! It is soooo scary right now to think that Mccain might win with that horrible woman.

NOT EVEN HER DAUGHTER RESPECTS HER.

Before anything else, just think... can we really afford another 4 years??

How can anyone believe that Sarah would make a good president...Goodness, we went through this with Obama, and now Sarah...
We can see where we have made mistakes...Please people...don't go on personalities..Go with the person
that fits the way you want your life
to be in the next 4 to 8 years..
Do you want more of the same, or
change with the democrats...There is no debating on this...Don't go with who is the prettiest, the ugliest or stutters the most...
This is for real..No more mistakes, we can't afford them...We are going down the tubes...Personalities have
gotten us in trouble...Reagan deregulated and all that is going on now has trickled down from him...They are not telling you that he is the one that started deregulating....then Bush really
did it and look where we are at...
Please, Please...The democrats will not let Obama fell in this...to much is at stake...your livelihood
and our country's future for our
children is at stake...I can't stand Obama, but the choice is clear....No more mistakes....

Anonymous, I am sorry, but you
must be in a high income bracket
and not having any problems with
the shortages of gas, food, education, child care, health insurance, and life in general...
Thousands of people out here have
been misplaced with their jobs,
down sized companies and are struggling...If you are a republican,
open your heart up a little for the
people that live on the other side of the street...I have helped two
families for the past 2 years,
and it is worse for them now, and
things are tightening for me....
People are hurting...How can people
go to bed at night, and not think
about their neighbors having a
tough time and still vote republican....We have the haves, and the haves not..The middle class, for which I am lower middle class, is having a hard time....
we don't fit in any category....
It costs most of us every penny
we can scrape up to send a child
to college or get grants...Grants
are hard to come by in the last
8 years....My grandson has gotten
scholarships for his artistic
and engineering abilities and he
still has a full time job to meet
his loan every quarter...He is carrying a 4.0 average, and usually
20 credits..He averages 4 hours sleep a night to go to school
and work in a publishing firm...
He told his parents that he is going to drop out the next quarter
because he was burned out..and to
catch on his loans...He has decided to go to college 7 years
instead of 5 or 6 because he did not want to carry his loans over
after he graduated....He wanted them to be paid off...Most students have loans to pay off years after they graduate...Does this seem fair to you...The republicans have done this..They make it so hard for students to get grants..If you are poor, you can usually get help...
If you are rich, the parents will
more then likely pay for the education..The rich gets richer,
and the poor, well you know the story...but being middle class
there is no place to reach for help....The republicans have squeezed us to death...We need a break...a Breath of fresh air...We are not asking for hand outs...
but education keeps rising and the
average Joe out here can not afford it...even with scholarships..
Health care is not attainable for
most Americans...I know more
people with out health care then
who can afford it...That is sad living in a country such as ours...
I am 70 years old, I spent 6 years
going to college in my life time...
For that I paid for it myself...
I don't want to see people living in the streets of America..I don't want to see any more mistakes like
Katrina..and people misplace from their homes and treated like low life....I want honest and dependable people working in Washington who cares for the American people, and will do what is right to the best of their ability...The Republicans are good at what they do...They know how to campaign...They know how to lie,
and make it sound like the truth....
But what they do not know how to do
is run our country...They only think of themselves and the rich who lines their pockets with more money then you know what to do with...
Father George Bush excepted 1 million dollars after he left office...Reagan received enough money to buy a nice home and further his ranch when he left office...and also ended up with
Air Force !....That plane needs
to be in the Air and Space in
Washington D C...Nancy knows how
to further her pockets..How anyone can say he was a great president
when he made so many mistakes, and
he deregulated the big businesses and gave Wall Street, Banks, Oil
Companies a free hand...and it all
has trickled down to September, 2008...and look at the mess we are in now, with this George Bushes
help.....
How anyone can praise the republicans for the last 8 years
has been a sleep or does not have
a clue what is going on !

The choice is clear - VOTE OBAMA!
