CAN we get a re-vote?

CAN I get a re-vote?: Protest the DNC and mail-in a can

Help get a Re-Vote in Florida and Michigan. Obama fought hard to make sure there would be no re-vote, because Hillary would easily win Florida and Michigan possibily putting her in the lead. Read about how you can help get a re-vote.
==============

The leaders of the Democratic party have refused to resolve the conflict with FL and MI's voters. It's time that we take matters into our own hands.

If you have some empty cans in your house, please decorate them and mail them to the addresses listed below in protest of their betrayal to the voters in FL and MI.

This is very important, as the Democratic nominee cannot win without the voters of MI and FL behind him or her. As the past two presidential elections have shown, the outcome of one or two states can be the make-or-break deal for who winds up in the White House.

SEND CANS TO:

Nancy Pelosi
Office of the Speaker
H-232, US Capitol
Washington, DC 20515

Harry Reid
Office of the Majority Leader
528 Hart Senate Office Bldg
Washington, DC 20510

Howard Dean
Democratic National Committee
430 S. Capitol St. SE
Washington DC 20003.

GUIDELINES FOR SENDING CANS:

1. Make sure they don't have any sharp edges. Nothing that could be perceived as dangerous or hazardous.

2. Please decorate them. They need to be "presents", not trash.

Please focus your decorations on the support of voters' rights. The Democratic leaders will not listen to us if we act like we are trying to divide the party. We need their support. We already have some slogans that you are more-than-willing to use. See our message board below.

This is not a protest in favor of one candidate over the other. Anyone who supports democracy and voters' rights is free to join and participate.

Our only common support is for the voters of FL and MI.

Please do not post anything that can be interpreted as a blatant attack on other Democrats. The media has already done enough damage of trying to divide the party. This is not our goal. In order to be effective, we must remain above negative attacks.

Hillary will win the Democratic Nomination (read why)

Check out Chris's analysis on why Hillary will win the Democratic Nominee (Read About It Here)
"This assumption is predicated on two basic assumptions: 1) Hillary Clinton will win the overall popular vote among all people voting in the Democratic primaries this election season; and 2) the Democratic Party holds the outcome of the popular vote sacrosanct, and that the super delegates will get in line behind the winner as measured by that barometer.

Let's turn first to the argument that Hillary will win the popular vote.

Hillary Clinton will be the next Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

A Message From Hillary

Here is the latest message from Hillary, sent out by the Hillary Campaign. I also want to remind everyone that we are so close to winning. The people have spoken and Hillary is winning all the national Polls. She has a huge lead over Obama. Obama on the other hand has been working hard to stop Hillary, he refused to help Hillary get a revote in Michigan and Florida for fear that he would lose. These states are so important to the General Election and Hillary understands how important it is to get these votes counted. We are so close and now is the time to do everything we can to help Hillary.

Message from Hillary
"Despite the spirited efforts of our online community, we are facing a serious financial disadvantage against the Obama campaign. In February alone, they were able to spend $10 million more than we were.

If we were talking together right now, here's what I would tell you. At this critical moment, our campaign needs a public show of strength that only you can provide. What you do right now could determine the outcome of Pennsylvania and beyond.

Will you act immediately to help us close the fundraising gap by making a contribution? Your action is vital to our chances for victory.

We need a massive show of support by midnight Saturday. Contribute now to help us win in Pennsylvania and beyond.

I am seeing incredible enthusiasm for our campaign and our ideas from people across Pennsylvania. I know that on a level playing field, you and I will be successful, just as we were in Texas, Ohio, and other states big and small across the nation.

But only an immediate infusion of financial support from you and others like you can give my campaign the resources needed to turn our hard-earned political momentum into victory in Pennsylvania and beyond.

We need to raise every dollar we can by midnight Saturday. Contribute now to make a difference.

All through this remarkable experience, the success of our campaign has been as much in your hands as it is in mine. And that has never been more true than it is right now.

I'm really counting on hearing from you.

The Obama Cult

According to wikipedia, a cult of personality arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create a heroic public image through unquestioning flattery and praise. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships but can be found in some democracies as well.

I feel like performing a cheer...

Give me an, "O"

Give me a, "B"

Give me an, "A"

Give me an, "M"

Give me an, "A"

What's that spell? "CULT of PERSONALITY!!!"
Don't believe the hype.

Hillary Leading Nationwide

By the Numbers: For the third consecutive day, the Gallup Poll shows Hillary leading Sen. Obama (49-42). Hillary also widened her lead in Pennsylvania to 16 points (51-35).

Hillary Gets Another Super Delegate

I'm sure now that Hillary's calendars from when she was a First Lady have been released, the media will not dwell on how much she accomplished but instead on any suspicious "gaps" or discrepancies. Much will be made of where she was, and when, and whether it counts as "experience". It's already started with Newsweek noticing "curious deletions". (They should see my calendar!) And when do we get to see Senator Obama's calendars from the last 10 years?

The media is also made a big flap about her $5 million loan to her own campaign, even though Bill is certainly rich just from speaking fees since leaving office. Last night I heard a caller on talk radio make wild accusations about secret financial deals implicating Clintons with the Saudis and the Bush family. I had to turn it off after a few minutes before it got even more ridiculous, and this was on progressive radio. The hysteria over and focus on the most inane, petty details of Hillary's existence are maddening, compared to the seriousness given to Obama at all times. When did this start? I don't even remember anymore. His speech defending his ex-pastor on Tuesday was treated a grand speech on the ills of western culture and race relations and he was given a 30 minute chunk of airtime that was not matched by a similar media gift to Clinton. The media also reports over and over again that "everyone" has released their tax info. except Hillary. This is not true -- John McCain has also not released his tax returns. The media hasn't even noticed!

But the reason I write this is good news for Hillary. Not only John Murtha, but also another super delegate has endorsed her in the last few days -- West Virginia superdelegate Pat Maroney, a DNC committee chairman, also chose the New York Senator. Now if only she could get some positive TV time! Yesterday, Hillary attended a “Solutions For America” event with Sen. Evan Bayh in Terre Haute, Indiana. Obama gave another speech. Guess who I saw on TV every time I looked at cable news. It would be nice if we could convince the media that we want to see more coverage of Clinton.

$5 Million: Hillary's supporters have contributed more than $5 million online since the polls closed on Tuesday night.

Making News: After losing Ohio, Texas, and Rhode Island, Sen. Obama's campaign is attacking Hillary. Sen. Obama's foreign policy advisor attacked Hillary as a "monster." In December, Sen. Obama said he would remove people who "tear people down personally."

Previewing Today: Hillary holds town halls in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Cheyenne and Casper, Wyoming… President Bill Clinton attends an event in Media, Pennsylvania and hosts a fish fry in Tupelo, Mississippi.

"The heads of a few of the people turned away appeared in the windows, apparently hoping for a glimpse of the former president." … "More than 1,000 excited Democrats" came to hear President Clinton in Rock Springs. "The crowd's turnout and enthusiasm was huge." … "More then 200 students" showed up to hear Chelsea at Casper College. "Julie Briggs, a Hillary for President pin on her blouse... went to the cafeteria more than an hour early to get a good place."

Facts are Facts: Sen. Obama's campaign is recycling negative attacks against Hillary in Mississippi and distorting her record on foreign policy. Get the facts.

Obama as Vice President

Hillary has hinted recently in the media that she would love to have Obama as Vice President and that it would be a winning ticket. I agree, even though I feel Obama is inexperienced, his charisma with Hillary's leadership would be amazing. We would be looking at 16 years of Democrats in the Whitehouse. Talk about some serious change and leadership for this country.

How does everyone else feel?

55 million raised by Obama.....Yet he still lost on Tuesday!

So Obama is really pushing in the news today that he raised 55 million in February, Big Deal! All that money and he still couldn't beat Hillary. Another reason why Hillary is better positioned to be the nominee and to beat McCain.

I think a Hillary as President an Obama as Vice President is the way to go.
